Our wine portfolio ranges from old world Europe, Argentina and New Zealand to California, Washington State and Oregon. We also represent authentic, top quality sakes from Japan, small production liqueurs and grappas from Italy and authentic tequila from Mexico. We pride ourselves on the quality and price points of our products, our customers' satisfaction and our reputation in the marketplace.Job DescriptionAngelini Wine Ltd has a key opening for a wine and liquor professional to further develop our Fairfield, Connecticut market.We are looking for an enthusiastic and competitive salesperson to join our family and share our passion for top quality wines and liquors with our clients. There will be a strong emphasis on ensuring that our clients understand our full portfolio and how it can enhance their business and their profitability. Developing new on and off-premise clients, as well as strengthening existing relationships, will be keys to your success. An understanding of the challenges and opportunities of the market will be critical to your success.Responsibilities and Duties* assess both on and off-premise account potential and implement a customized sales program to increase sales* cold call and acquire new on and off-premise accounts* clearly and effectively communicate with other sales staff, clients and management* book and attend off-hours events such as wine dinners, tastings, trade shows and fundraising events* consistently educate clients on new offerings and explore additional marketing opportunities with them* work with sales manager and owner to assist in generating additional sales* when needed, collect payment from your accounts* attend sales meetings held 2X/month* represent Angelini Wine Ltd. with integrity and professionalismQualifications and Skills* a strong desire and commitment for outside sales and client development* maturity to work independently* love of wine and knowledge of wine and industry preferred* demonstrated perseverance and positive attitude*outside sales experience and industry knowledge highly desirable* excellent people skills and positive attitude* current, clean driver's license/record and valid car insurance* basic computer skills - using company provided IPad and social mediaCompensation:* Salary plus commission *** we pay some of the highest commissions in the industry**** Bonuses* monthly travel allowance* No caps or limits on your compensationOther Benefits :* health insurance* dental insurance* Simple IRA with employer match* supplemental insurances available (short-term disability, life insurance, accident, etc)* ability to set your own schedule while meeting your sales goalsJob category: Sales and Marketing
