In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the financial systems (SAP S4) and trading system (AFS) within the organization, utilizing your expertise in SAP technologies. Your primary objective will be to support MNA end users, optimize operations, enhance system functionality and manage related project, and support strategic decision-making. This role also collaborates with global IT finance team to implement projects and tools for the North American business. Reports to: IT Sr. Director of Business SolutionsKey Internal Partners: Finance, Sales, and IT.Key Business System: SAP S4(FICO,CO-PA) and AFSLocation: New York, NY (Hybrid Model) Job Responsibilities:Support and enhance information management systems for MNA finance and sales (40%)Provide robust support to finance team and facilitate the usage of SAP S4 functionality. Be the IT expert on AFS (trade promo tool) and own the application from technical perspective.Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions, aligning technology with financial strategies and objectives.Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of finance-related systems, including SAP S4, financial planning tools (CO-PA), budgeting and forecasting software, and other financial applications.Monitor and enhance the performance of financial systems, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure system stability and data accuracy.Develop and maintain financial system documentation, including process workflows, technical specifications, and user manuals, to facilitate efficient operations and knowledge sharing.Manage IT projects (40%)Manage financial system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations with other business systems, coordinating with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Deliver IS projects for MNA and ensures projects are on-time and within budget using local or matrix teams from France. Drives project and business objectives in partnership with project team members.Develop and implement IT governance policies and procedures to ensure proper control and auditability of financial systems and data.Stay up-to-date with the latest financial technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization and recommending strategic initiatives.Participate in global projects in the IT finance domain, and bring technical solution to NA business to leverage the application already available at group levelAct as key IT business partners (10%)Understands business goals and proposes technology solutions. Assesses the requirements of technology solutions, including estimates of time, staffing and costs to implement and support the solution.Develops solid understanding of business processes and business dependencies on supported technologies.Collaborates with MNA business team (finance, sales, etc.) on IT related projects, and provide guidance & recommendation on technical solutions.Educate key business users on information systems (10%)Provide training and assistance to existing and new users to build up user experience and knowledge of SAP S4 HanaPartners up with the key users to implement/optimize new and existing processesChallenges user requests to ensure that best practices are followed and implementedPerforms needs assessment with users including describing current process, suggesting alternative and challenging the status quo, when appropriateKey Performance Indicators (KPI's)Timely and effective support to front office business teamsBe the front office IT subject matter expert in the finance domainOn-time project completion that meets the charter objectivesPosition Requirements: EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.EXPERIENCEProven experience (5+ years) in finance-related IT roles, with a strong understanding of finance processes and systemsSolid knowledge of SAP S4 financial modules, ERP platforms, and financial planning tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, etc.)Demonstrated experience in team leadership, project management, and vendor management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with finance and IT teams, as well as senior management.Certification in relevant IT or finance-related fields is a plus.
