About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Controls Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems.Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions, requiring extensive knowledge of electronic or digital controls systems.
• Consult with customers to provide field proposals for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing equipment.
• Manage assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction.
• Provide sketches of field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings.
• Communicate with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards, providing safety leadership and instruction to all controls technicians in the branch.
• Train customers in control systems operations, delivering manuals and documentation as required.
• Provide mentorship for certification of Controls Technicians and Service Technicians on complex building automation systems.Requirements
  • Vocational School four-year program graduate, an Associate's degree in a technical field, or two years' experience in servicing electronic and or mechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
  • Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
  • Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
  • Demonstrate effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications.What We OfferJohnson Controls International offers a competitive benefits package, including a hiring hourly range of $38.27-$57.40/hr, depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
