a Senior Risk Consultant II for our Marine line of business . This
position will be remote, but candidates must reside within one of
the following states: New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, or
Connecticut. Travel will be required throughout the Northeast

Your Team Our Marine Risk Consultants have expertise in all areas
of marine, drawing on years of experience as master mariners,
engineers, supply-chain specialists, and logistics & cargo experts.
Technical expertise and proactive risk management solutions span
intermodal cargo, hull, inland marine, ports and terminals. Our
Allianz Risk Consulting (ARC) team is made up of experienced
engineers from a wide range of technical and scientific
disciplines. The team provides a flexible range of risk consulting
services, from natural hazards, fire safety, and human and
organizational risk factors to in-depth analysis of industry
operations, and financial exposures, across all industry sectors
and risks. We also focus on delivering bespoke training plans to
help you to optimize risk management procedures in the long term.

risk experience - creating tailor - made risk management services
to respond to unique challenges. The Impact You Will Have
Responsible for providing loss control expertise, support and
assistance to AGCS and its customers, to assist Allianz
underwriting in risk selection and retention. Provide ongoing
co-ordination and monitoring of the loss control activity /
servicing of assigned accounts & loss control survey work to assist
with servicing of assigned accounts. Develop and maintain
professional working relationships with Underwriting, Market
Management, Communications, Claims, clients and brokers. Maintain
and enhance technical skills and expertise in respective field to
support the business. Some of your specific responsibilities could
include:
- Complete desk top reviews and risk assessments (pre & post
loss) for underwriting evaluating and summarizing exposures and
controls. Ability to review procedures and logistics operation
review of clients with Pharma and Theft attractive goods
exposure.
- Work with underwriting, claims, the client and the broker where
appropriate to develop customized loss control programs including
locations to be surveyed (or included as part of continuing
service), scope and cost of risk consulting services. Able to
provide loss prevention guidance to clients in cargo security
matters
- Generate and review required reports and recommendations. Meet
reporting deadlines in accordance with departmental performance
objectives.
- Survey client operations obtain appropriate data, identify
hazards, discuss findings with appropriate parties. Generate loss
control reports, recommendations etc.
- Appoint/monitor 3rd parties ensuring adequate contract/controls
in place with budgets agreed up front. Check and ensure quality of
work provided by 3rd parties.
- Assist AzC and clients with respect to ongoing or specific
projects. Support technical training presentations for internal and
external clients as required / appropriate. What You'll Bring to
the Role -
- A minimum 7 years' significant experience in loss prevention
engineering in an area relevant to his/her LoB. With good knowledge
and professional experience in business sectors.
- Preferably a bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in a
line associated with his/her LoB). Or Bachelor's degree or
equivalent in other area will be considered in conjunction with
extensive technical experience.
- Demonstrable engineering/technical expertise. Commitment to
maintaining knowledge of developments and new technologies in
field. Able to work technical loss control topics. Knowledge of
specific business sectors. The annualized base pay range for this
role is $102,232 to $202,418. The annual base salary range
represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this
position may be above and will be determined by several factors,
including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the
skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the
candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total
compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and
