be paid out. About the Role:We are seeking a highly organized and
detail-oriented Scale House Coordinator to join our team. In this
role, you will be responsible for overseeing the weighing of
incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring accurate measurements and
timely processing of paperwork. The successful candidate will play
a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our
operations.Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the
transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a
fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer
applications.Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance
requirements.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts or
loaders.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.Responsibilities:
- Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring accurate
measurements and compliance with company policies and
procedures.
- Process and maintain accurate records of all transactions,
including weight tickets, bills of lading, and other related
paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other team
members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the scale house and
equipment.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.Skills:As a
Scale House Coordinator, you will utilize your strong attention to
detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate measurements
and timely processing of paperwork. You will communicate
effectively with drivers, customers, and other team members to
ensure smooth and efficient operations. Proficiency in Microsoft
