Seeking a trial attorney to handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial, with exceptional knowledge of civil procedure and evidence and trial procedures.

As a trial attorney, you will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial, with a focus on civil procedure and evidence and trial procedures. You will demonstrate exceptional research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills, and be well organized, detail oriented, and able to independently manage a busy time-sensitive caseload.

**Responsibilities:**

* Handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial
* Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of civil procedure and evidence and trial procedures
* Possess outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills, and be well organized, detail oriented, and able to independently manage a busy time-sensitive caseload
* Work in a hybrid role, with hours in the office and virtually, with the ability to spend time working both in the office and from home

**Qualifications:**

* Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
* Active license to practice law in New York and be a member in good standing with the state bar
* 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
* Experience working in a paperless environment
* Experience directing support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling
* Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
* Potential salary range: $125,625.00-$160,000.00 (starting salary will be based on background and experience)
* Potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary (results may vary from year to year)
