Job Description:
A company is looking for an Atlas Developer for a remote
contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and optimize interactive web-based atlas and mapping
applications
Handle, process, and visualize geospatial data for dynamic mapping
functionalities
Deploy applications within the company's infrastructure and provide
maintenance support
Required Qualifications:
Proficient in web-based GIS tools such as ArcGIS, Mapbox, Leaflet,
or OpenLayers
Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and frameworks like
React, Vue, or Angular
Knowledgeable in geospatial data formats like shapefiles, GeoJSON,
and KML
Familiarity with back-end development technologies such as Node.js,
Python, and RESTful APIs
Understanding of geospatial databases, such as PostGIS or SQL
