Job Description:
A company is looking for a Certified Coder - Orthopedic
Surgery.
Key Responsibilities
Reviews medical record documentation to identify diagnoses and
procedures for coding
Codes evaluation and management to appropriate CPT and ICD-10
codes
Meets with physicians to review documentation and assist with
coding issues
Required Qualifications
Must have one of the following coding credentials: AHIMA (CCA, CCS,
CCS-P) or AAPC (CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPC-H-A)
No specific work experience is required
A diploma, certification, or degree is not required
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred
Associate degree in Medical Coding & Billing is preferred
